Brazil’s superstar Neymar is likely to move to the Premier League where he will join Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United despite claims in the media linking the PSG ace to the La Liga.
The Brazilian international moved to the French capital last year, but after a season at the French topflight, the Selecao star is linked with another mega deal that is likely to see the 26-year-old land in Manchester not Madrid.
Recently, media reports suggest that Neymar is closing in on a possible move to the Premier League as Real Madrid have not shown their intention of signing the former Barcelona player.Interestingly, the Brazilian’s backroom delegation that also includes his agent-dad, are purported to have enjoyed a healthy working relationship with Manchester United transfers’ chief executive, Ed Woodward, who less than a year ago, never hide his admiration for the highly-skilful player.
However, respected Spain’s AS newspaper reports, that the Selacao’s top star would prefer a switch to the Spanish capital to Manchester.
On the other hand, Neymar is alleged to be playing cautiously not to annoy eggheads at the French Ligue 1 outfit as he does not want to compromise his departure from Parc des Princes. Thus, the former Santos star wants all parties to be on good terms so that his reputation will remain intact.
Despite all the intrigues, Neymar’s compatriot Marcelo has come out openly to assure his countryman that all is well at the Santiago Benarbeu outfit.
In addition, he believes his international teammate’s arrival will not create division in the Galaticos squad next season.
"Look, Cristiano does not own Real Madrid. If the president chooses, anyone can be there,” the Brazil star cautioned.
“There's no such thing as Neymar not being there because Cristiano is there.
"I am very hopeful that Cristiano Ronaldo stays at Real Madrid, all the players want him to stay, but one thing is not related to the other.
"Neymar will always have open doors at Real Madrid."
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously had reported that Real Madrid are reportedly ready to pay Paris-Saint-Germain massive sum of £307 million this summer in their attempt to sign Neymar.
According to the report by UK Sun, a source explained that Los Blancos chiefs are ready to meet Paris-Saint-Germain's release clause for them to sign the Brazil international.
Since Neymar left Barcelona for a world record move to Paris-Saint-Germain, Real Madrid have been looking for ways to bring him back to the Spanish topflight.
