Former Chelsea Coach As Been Announced As Marseille Manager

Andre Villas-Boas the former Chelsea and Tottenham boss has named as the new Olympique Marseille Manager.

The former Chelsea and Tottenham boss Andre has been named as7 Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille manager, the 41 years old replace Rudi Garcia at Stade Velodrome after guiding the Phocaeans to a fifth-place finish in Ligue 1 campaign this season.

Villa-Boas has been out of a job since he left Shanghai SIPG in November 2017, after a year at the club during which he led them to the runners-up position in the Chinese Super League and the Chinese FA Cup, as well as the semi-finals of the Asian Champions League.

Olympique Marseille announced Andre Villas-Boas appointment on Tuesday with a tweet reading "Our new era has begun"

The club's American owner Frank McCourt told om.net: "We are delighted to hire a coach whose success is known at the highest level in Europe and worldwide.
