Akwa Ibom Assembly Confirms Gov. Emmanuel’s Commissioner-Nominees

The Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly on Thursday affirmed the 19 Commissioner-nominees people and two Special Adviser-nominees sent to it by Governor Udom Emmanuel.

The Speaker, Mr. Aniekan Bassey, said at the plenary in Uyo, that the chosen people had before been screened by the House Committee on Judiciary, Justice, Human Rights, and Public Petitions.

"In like manner, the rundown of officials and counselors sent by Gov Udom Emmanuel is thus affirmed.

"The Clerk to the House, Mrs. Mandu Umoren, is coordinated to advance the affirmation rundown to the senator," Bassey said.

He prompted the affirmed officials to increase the value of the lives of the Akwa Ibom individuals through administration as individuals from the State Executive Council and carry greater improvement to the state.
