Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has demanded a public apology from Spanish PM Pedro Sanchez over his comments in the wake of an unfounded s.ex abuse scandal.
The Spain international refused to applaud the politician alongside his international team-mates in a move branded as "revenge" by some section of the Spanish media.
The 27-year-old was linked to an underage prostitution ring involving a Spanish director named Torbe but was later cleared of all wrongdoing.
